Gifts For Moms Who Love To Cook
Instant Pot
OK I know I’m starting with a more expensive gift option here but I promise you I would not recommend this if it wasn’t literally my favorite thing that I own. I HATE cooking and I suck at it and I swear the instant pot is wonderful even for me. (See post where I talk about how IP saves my life weekly here). The thing is magic. You can make anything in it in literally a fraction of the time you’d make it in any other appliance. If your mom doesn’t have an instant pot, she needs one. The model I recommend is $99.95 and available on Amazon Prime. Check it out here.
Air Fryer
This is another appliance that literally everyone I know is obsessed with, and this model is less than $50! If you don’t know what an air fryer is, you’re missing out. You can fry up basically anything in this bad boy with only a teeny bit of oil. Delicious and healthier than traditional fried options! If you want a slightly fancier version, this model is currently on sale for less than $100! I have no idea how long the sale will last so please don’t yell at me if it’s gone by the time you read this post! Both models are available on Prime.
Serving Tray
If your mom loves hosting get togethers, she will absolutely love this gift. No hostess with the mostest ever has too many serving trays, and this one is absolutely gorgeous! At under $25 you can’t beat this Mother’s Day gift idea.
Gifts For Moms Who Love Wine
Why yes, I did have to make wine it’s own category thank you for asking. Listen, us girls who love wine, we LOVE wine. If your mom is a wine gal, she will love these gift ideas!
Winc Subscription
Winc is a monthly wine subscription service that I actually discovered initially by receiving it as a gift from my travel nursing agency. Each month you’re billed for credits towards your account that you use to purchase wine. You can add your preferences and rate your wines each month, and then Winc creates personalized recommendations tailored towards what you like. I also love that they offer food pairing suggestions (with recipes included!) for every wine you order.
Winc shipping is super fast – I usually have an email stating that my wine has shipped a day or two after I order. You can pause or cancel billing for credits at any time, and if you have unused credits from month to month they will roll over. The credits also never expire, so if mom doesn’t order every month she’ll still have them available the next month, or you can order some for yourself!
You can try Winc here – and a bonus, if you sign up using my link you’ll get $22 towards your first purchase! Trust me as a recipient of this gift, it’s a much appreciated surprise.
Yeti Wine Tumbler
There is no such thing as too many/enough wine tumblers. I love these things. I’m actually kinda salty that I don’t have this particular one yet because I know a Yeti tumbler would keep my Rose cold on these warm spring days. Anyway, I digress. If your mom is a wine gal, get her this. And don’t worry, even though it’s Yeti, it’s still under $25!
Gifts For Moms Who Love Gardening/Plants
Garden Tool + Tote Set
I mean honestly if your mom loves to garden (or even just dabbles in planting things once in a while) this is basically the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. It comes with a bunch of tools and a sweet little carrier for everything. And (the best part) its under $20.
Pine Wood Plant Stand
You guys. I’m not even a plant chick and I want this thing. What a freaking cute way to display potted plants. Whether your mom loves keeping her orchids alive or is just admiring her fake ikea plants, she’ll love this display stand!
Gifts For Moms Who Love To Travel
Weekender Bag With Shoe Compartment
When I tell you this bag has been on my Amazon wish list for like 1.5+ years…. I have no idea why I don’t just buy it because it’s not expensive at all. I think probably I found it and wasn’t at the exact right time to buy it and then COVID happened and I haven’t flown in over a year. Anyway, I’m not bitter. I just love this bag. It has a little sleeve on the back to hook it to a suitcase handle. Also, see that zipper compartment on the bottom – that’s for SHOES. You can fit a whole weekend in this bag. Plus it just looks classy AF in my opinion. Perfect Mother’s Day gift for traveling mamas.
*Pro tip – the link to this bag is gonna take you to one that’s slightly different. The way you select the bag with the shoe compartment is by choosing the color option on the Amazon menu that looks like this bag. It’s listed as “blue stripes with shoe compartment” on Amazon.*
Tumi Alpha 3 Brief Pack
OK, this is 100% a splurge gift and I would never in a million years recommend something this high $$$ to you guys except that I feel I have to because I love it SO much. My sweetie got this gem when he travelled all the time for work and when I tell you it is the most amazing bag.. The straps are insanely comfortable, the storage space is insane, and honestly this thing has a pocket for everything (including passports and your laptop). We use this bad boy every single time we go on a trip, but it would also be an amazing school bag, diaper bag, literally anything you want bag. Seriously worth every penny.
Travel Planner
This travel planner is SO cute. If mom loves traveling and she’s a master planner/organizer/logistics queen, this is the gift for her. This super cute (and super affordable) planner offers so many fun pages like accommodation notes, travel journaling spots, and a fill in destination map. Bonus: they also offer a budget planner. Us planner girls love to have planners for all the things.
Gifts For Moms Who Love Home Decor
Floral Reed Diffuser
I am obsessed with this diffuser because it’s decorative AND functional. It comes in lots of different scents and color combos to fit any color scheme. Honestly if I wasn’t moving around so often I’d probably buy this for myself because I just love how simple and elegant it looks. *swoon*
Hanging Photo Display
Literally all moms love cute things to display pictures of their families. Snatch up this super cute hanging photo display, print out some cute pictures, and BAM – Mother’s Day shopping done.
Don’t F*ck Up The Table Coasters
I couldn’t resist including these coasters. Obviously this gift idea is very dependent on your mom’s sense of humor, but if she’s a sassy woman these coasters are perfect for her.
Gifts For Moms Who Deserve Some Papering
3 in 1 Jade Roller Set
Anyone who is obsessed with skincare needs a jade roller. This set comes with a silicone brush for applying cremes and serums. The jade roller is great for even application, increasing circulation, and minimizing puffiness. Then the thing that looks like a pink salt rock (which I just learned is called a “gua sha” is used to smooth skin even more and pull away any excess product for a fresh look. This little set is super affordable and a perfect add into any mom’s daily routine!
Lush Bath Bombs
This is one of the only recommendations on my gift list (other than wine) that isn’t available on Prime – the only place you can get these is on the Lush website or at a retail location so make sure you shop early for these! But let me tell you, I’ll never post self care recommendations that DON’T include Lush bath bombs. I am a die hard bath bomb girl and I’m telling you Lush is the best of the best. My favorites are Deep Sleep (pictured), Dragon’s Egg (smells amazing, will turn the bathwater sparkly), and Sex Bomb (fills the tub with rose petals, yum). Pro tip: if you get Deep Sleep, make sure mom knows to leave the bomb in the little cloth it’s wrapped up in – if you don’t you’ll have a tub full of lavender seeds. Don’t make my mistake…
Moroccan Oil Cleanse and Style Set
This stuff is amazing quality and smells sooooo good. This set includes a cleanser that is super gentle and hydrating for skin. It also includes a hair treatment that will leave hair feeling soft and smooth, plus it’ll smell amazing! Trust me, mom wants this.
